Danie Appel
Danie Appel has been involved in the Club Industry for 11 years and is currently the General Manager of Kelvin Grove Club in Cape Town, a social sports club with over 7000 members. He has served on the CMASA National Committee for 3 years. He holds a B.Com., MBA. ,

Darren Dignam
Darren Dignam started his career with Protea Hotels in 1988 moving on to accept the position at the Bryanston Country Club as a Duty Manager before becoming the Clubhouse Manager. In 2001, he took up the position as Club Manager of The Wanderers Club and in 2008 was promoted to the position of Chief Executive of The Wanderers Club. He has transformed a struggling institution into a financially viable and successful club. He has served on the CMASA National Committee for the last 3 years. Darren has attained his CCM designation.

Paul Leishman
Paul Leishman completed a National Diploma in Hotel Management through the Wits Hotel School. He has been in the club industry for 20 years. He spent 6 years as GM at Crown Mines Golf Club, 14 months opening The World of Golf, at Glendower as General Manager for 9 years and is currently General Manager at Bryanston Country Club.He has served CMASA for a total of 12 years, three of which he was Chairman of CMASA. Paul has attained his CCM designation

Peet de Wet
Peet is currently the General Manager of Ebotse Golf Club. He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and holds a B.Soc.Sc degree. He has been at Ebotse for the last 5 years. He is one of the group of select managers who hold the CCM designation.
Sue Nortje
Sue Nortjes career in Finance has spanned some 25 years. She was at Crown Mines for 2 years before moving to Cape Town to work at Boschenmeer Golf Club. Approached by Erinvale Golf Club, she was the Financial Manager there for 5 years. She is currently Financial Manager at Steenberg Estate for both the Golf Club and Homeowners Association. She has served on the CMASA Executive committee since 2006. Sue has attained her CCM designation

Ann Robbie
Ann Robbie has been involved in the club industry for 8 years, has a B. Compt (Auditing and Accounting) and MBA. She has managed Daifern, Princes Grant and Zimbali Golf Estates prior to going to London for a year where she headed the HR and IT Departments of a FTSE Listed hotel group. She then joined Durban Country Club as CEO and is currently CEO of Country Club Johannesburg. She previously served on the Committee of CMASA and is currently Chairperson of the Association.
Beryl Acres
BERYL ACRES CCM is the General Manager of CMASA. Beryl has a passion for the club industry and her many years of experience in this sector affords her the opportunity to develop and initiate new products for the benefit of members of the association. Beryls interest in staff development has culminated in the graduation of 5 CMASA Manager Development students in South Africa.
Doug Bain
Doug started his carreer in the club industry as Assistant Manager at Westlake Golf Club in the Western Cape, becoming General Manager in 2003, before moving to Randpark Club as CEO. Doug was awarded the CMASA Manager of the Year in 2008. He has a B.Comm degree,and has passed the R & A Rules of Golf examination as well as having attained his CCM designation.
