VACANCY: Middelburg Country Club
Grounds Superintendent/Greenkeeper

Middelburg Country Club currently has a vacancy for a Grounds Superintendent/Greenkeeper.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below;

  • Develop and manage the regular maintenance of the Golf Course and to present it in optimum condition at all times
  • Continuously develop the golf course in accordance with a long range development plan i.e., trees, bunkers, stream, etc.
  • Produce and manage within the Course expense budget
  • Lead and supervise the course staff and hourly workforce
  • Set annual objectives and to manage by these objectives
  • Continuously improve work practices, procedures and processes
  • Maintain the course equipment, irrigation system, vehicles and facilities
  • Train and develop the course staff

Inanda Club currently has a vacancy for a Receptionist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below;

  1. To answer all incoming telephone calls, to deal with requirements where possible and to direct others to the relevant person/department
  2. To enter telephone bookings into the reservations book
  3. To issue membership cards
  4. To make accommodation reservations, changes, payments etc
  5. To assist members, their guests and function clients with queries and if unable to assist them, to direct them to the correct contact person
